1.6 represents a new stable series, with ongoing support from upstream. 1.5 (never imported into jaunty) was a development series, and specifically blocked from inclusion in hopes that 1.6 would be released soon enough for jaunty.
Note that 1.4 clients will not be able to attach to 1.6 servers, so moving to 1.6 will significantly improve interoperability with other environments (including public servers). A sync of 1.6a-1 from Debian sid would build/install cleanly in jaunty. -- new upstream version - Battle for Wesnoth 1.6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
