** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Often my panel (set to autohide) does not autohide when the pointer has moved away. This maybe because I'm using an app which opens a dialog window when launched and it's confusing gnome-panel. The panel will auto-hide when I move the pointer over and then off of the panel, but doing this so often is fairly anoying. Would it be possible to auto-hide if the mouse is not within the bounds of the panel and not just on some pointer exit event? Cheers, Tim Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch) Release: 8.04 Package: gnome-panel Architecture: i386 Version: 1:2.22.0-0ubuntu2 + + Update: + This bug still exists in Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) + -Raunaq
