I should probably elaborate a bit more. I myself have the same card:

I was able to reproduce the lock-up without linux-backports-modules-
jaunty installed. After installing linux-backports-modules-jaunty I no
longer can trigger the lock-up. Would be good if you could confirm as
well. Thanks.
