I think this one is fixed on Intrepid - can anyone reproduce the problem there ?
On Hardy, many people seem to have this problem which I think is a bug in compiz A possible workaround for compiz is the following : Install the "Advanced desktop effects settings" package (Compiz desktop effects control panel), you can just go to add/remove applications for this.
