** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg Hello, I have a ubuntu dual head configuration working with the latest catalist drivers release. After many versions finally ATI supports the option to set one of them in portrait mode using: xranrd -o left The problem is that right now I have two screens, the size of the first is 1680x1050 and the size of the other is 1050x1680, but gnome desktop fails to correctly update the second screen desktop size. This is to say, I can move a window freely through all the screen, the background resizes accordingly, and I can manually change its size to fill the whole screen, but both the task bar and the start bar still think that the screen in portrait has the old dimensions and i cannot move the task bar to the bottom of the screen and it remains in the middle, the same happens while maximizing a window in which the final dimensions of the window are as if the screen wasnt in portrait. I have uploaded a screenshot displaying the problem. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation 82Q35 Express DRAM Controller [8086:29b0] (rev 02) + Subsystem: Dell OptiPlex 755 [1028:0211] + 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon HD 2400 XT [1002:94c1] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) + Subsystem: Dell Unknown device [1028:0d02]
