Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub

I installed grub yesterday at my laptop (acer Extensa 5630ez, works fine so
far), and after rebooting the installer. grub hung with "File not found".
During system installation, I selected manual partitioning and took a seperate
/boot as sda1 / (hd0,0).
So I needed to manually correct the option "uuid" at /boot/grub/menu.lst and
had to ln -s . /boot/boot to fix the error.
I use a shipped version of Ubuntu 8.10 installation CD with default installer
but used manual partitioning.
This might prevent many users from start using ubuntu.

** Affects: grub (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
