Thanks, I can put this in easily. However, it's important in each case that -nv be tested against that card, so we can be certain it works acceptably. Can you please check any of these cards you have access to be sure -nv works?
You can override the detection by inserting the card pciid into /usr/share/xserver-xorg/pci/nv.ids and restarting X.
