Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: debian-installer
When installing Jaunty Beta (both Ubuntu & Kubuntu) I chose Spanish as
the installation language.
Before starting to install the packages, the installer recognizes an
Internet connection and ask something similar to (in Spanish, though)
"You have a internet connection, would you like to install the rest of
the language support (dictionaries, etc.)?"
I clicked "yes", but it started downloading *-en-* packs.
After the installation, this is what I have installed:
a...@sushirider:~$ apt-cache policy language-pack-en-base
language-pack-en-base:
Installed: 1:9.04+20090320
Candidate: 1:9.04+20090320
Version table:
*** 1:9.04+20090320 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
a...@sushirider:~$ apt-cache policy language-pack-es-base
language-pack-es-base:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1:9.04+20090320
Version table:
1:9.04+20090320 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
The basic system is correctly in Spanish, but no dictionaries, or language
support files are installed in Spanish
** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
