Public bug reported:
I use mostly vanilla Ubuntu except for the window manager. I changed to
xmonad by setting the WINDOW_MANAGER environment variable in ~/.profile.
This used to work great, but once I upgraded to Jaunty it stopped
working completely. I think the variable is interpreted by gnome-wm,
because it's manual page mentions this. Is this a bug in Jaunty or does
Jaunty provide some alternative way of choosing a user specific windows
manager for the default Gnome environment.
