The update of my PPA is the fix for bug 333429, and your originally
reported bug got also fixed by that and, according ti what you have
posted, it seems to be the same bug. Therefore I mark this one as
duplicate.
The not working automatic recognition and setup of your printer is a
separate issue. Please report a new bug (package: hal-cups-utils) for it
and especially attach the output of "lshal" to the new bug report.
