** Description changed: Binary package hint: gcalctool Gnome calculator, i.e. gcalctool 5.24.1, presented in Ubuntu 8.10 does not calculate correctly in gradians (gon) and radians units. In scientific view, switched on the radio boxes of gradians or radians angle units, the calculator does not calculate correctly. For example: in Degrees: Sin(90) = 1 (correct) in Gradians: Sin(100) = 0.984807753 (not correct, must be 1) in Radians: Sin(3.141592654/2) = 0.027412134 (not correct, must be 1) This is very serious issue especially for surveying engineers and cartographers who are working with angles on daily basis. Additional information: - gcalctool 5.24.1, Ubuntu 8.10 + gcalctool 5.24.1, Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid), Kernel Linux 2.6.27-11-generic, GNOME 2.24.1
