Thanks for getting back to me. First off, I confess I am not very
computer literate, but I am trying to learn! I do not understand what
you mean by 'boot from a live cd and attach your kern.log'.
I tried to find information on how to do this on the Internet with not
luck. I put myself on a wait list at the local library to read up on
Ubuntu and Linux. I understand that it could be frustrating to deal
with someone like me, but please be patient, I am determined to be
Microsoft free, even if it means having to learn another language.
