Disable raid 10 is not an option. But getting it fixed in a month is IMO questionable, too. Alternatively perhaps it would be enough to display a warning message when updating to jaunty (and a Raid10 is present) and place a remark in the manpage (let's face it - almost no one is reading release notes).
