Hi Jonathande2, I just want to clarify a few things you mentioned:
1) When you attempt to suspend using the Fast User Switch Applet (ie little power icon) the computer doesn't even suspend properly? Or does is suspend ok, but it is the resume that doesn't work? 2) When you ran "sudo pm-suspend" from VT1, it suspended and resumed successfully? 3) dmesg is a command you can run from a terminal window which will print kernel log messages. It's helpful to see the output of this especially if any errors are logged. 4) The following wiki might also be more helpful to you - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspendHibernateResume Thanks. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- [LENOVO 0769EDG] suspend/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347539 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
