The problem is not solved. I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 beta. And everything freezes when i have effects turned on. It happens also on Alpha 6 with kernel upgrade on 2.6.27.11. But on 2.6.27.9 everything worked fine. I add this to Software Sources list: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/tormodvolden/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
