** Changed in: file-roller (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Triaged
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: file-roller
- File-roller does not archive empty directories. I am using Ubuntu
- version 8.10. Any suggestions? Thanks.
+ 1- mkdir -p a b
+ 2- touch a/c.txt
+ 3- create an archive containing both directories (tried with zip and tar.gz)
+
+ only the a directory is added to the archive the empty b isn't. Also tried
with
+ the command line utilities of zip, tar, rar and it works fine with them.
