Binary package hint: screen

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:    Ubuntu 8.04.2
Release:        8.04

$ apt-cache policy screen
screen:
  Installed: 4.0.3-7ubuntu1
  Candidate: 4.0.3-7ubuntu1
  Version table:

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Sometimes some of my key inputs inexplicably stop working from within screen.
These include number keys, -, ., some ctrl-keys eg ctrl-c (note that ctrl-a
works). I have not tested exhaustively. These inputs all work correctly from a
shell on the same host *not* using screen, and all fail to work on any of my
screen sessions on the same host. After 5 minutes or so the key inputs start
working again.

I launch my screen sessions using `SCREEN -q -x -R`.

** Affects: screen (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
