Thanks for the report.
When I launch a kvm, and kvm is successfully enabled, it launches fine,
and there are no error messages. This is the expected, normal behavior.
If on the other hand, kvm acceleration is not available, I do get an error
message from the command line saying:
Could not initialize KVM, will disable KVM support
You can try this for yourself by:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/kvm stop
$ kvm -hda foo.img
And you should see the error message.
And then restart kvm with:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/kvm start
$ kvm -hda foo.img
And you should see no error message.
