I've been trying to replicate this. Sometimes I get a percentage
increase and sometimes a percentage decrease. However both of these are
within +/- 10% either side.
sanath: are there any particular pages (eg. was it something showing a
flash movie in firefox, or which URL was it?) and for the video (totem
instance) you mentioned, how large was the video and in which format?
(Most of the actual video scaling part is done by a hardware scaler so
should not appear to make any difference to the CPU level).
