I reinstalled Jaunty, and the problem went away. I have really don't
know what the problem was... It's possible that it's any number of
things... My laptop runs docked with two 1600x1200 monitors and also
undocked... it's possible that the display manager tool just got
confused... It's hard to tell. I'll assign this to myself & see if I
can't reproduce it again.
