There is a pidgin-libnotify debdiff on another bug that will send them. And then there's a indicator-messages debdiff (yet to go up) that'll receive them. > For me, the notifications are nonetheless useful, except when I sign on > and see a stream of "sign ons" which are really Pidgin figuring out that > *I'm* signed on. We need to fix that. The attached debdiff changes the sounds in Pidgin to match the the pidgin-libnotify to extend the timeout for those to be 15 seconds after the protocol connects. This seems to significantly reduce the number of false logins for me. ** Attachment added: "1ubuntu4.debdiff" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24440151/1ubuntu4.debdiff -- Should not notify me about buddies signing in/out by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/345494 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
