Public bug reported:

I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the xfce panel or xfce panel
configuration dialog.

I am using Xubuntu 9.04 Beta with all updates.

I removed my top panel because I only like a single panel at the top and
then opened the panel settings from the xfce settings manager and
adjusted the size. The settings application froze for about 20 seconds
then it and the panel crashed then restarted. All my open applications
were still open so I didn't get logged out and an apport dialog appeared
telling me that the xfce panel crashed.

After the crash my top panel was restored as if the settings weren't
saved. I tried resizing the panel again with the same method and it all
went fine ???

P.S. I was resizing it as in making it larger, not wider as I always
have my panel the full length of the screen.
