Hi,

I just upgraded my laptop (Lenovo T61) to Ubuntu 9.04 and now I'm
experiencing the same problems. After a boot of the system I don't get
the graphical login, it is only showing me a nice color palette (more
like a knitted sweater). Also magic keys like Ctrl-Alt-BackSpace, Ctrl-
Alt-F1, etc becomes disabled. Removal of the libdri.so module provides a
"good" work around for me as well.

The /var/log/gdm/:0.log show the following error:
(EE) Can't load FireGL DRM library (libfglrxdrm.so).
(EE) Failed to load module "dri" (a required submodule could not be loaded, 0)
/usr/bin/X: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libdri.so:
undefined symbol: atiddxAbiDixLookupPrivate 26796 26540
giving up.

My T61 has a Intel video card:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated
Graphics Controller (rev 0c)

Hope this problem can be fixed.

Regards,
Marcel
