Binary package hint: python-traitsbackendwx
The IPython widget does not work with a recent version of ipython
installed. This problem can be seen by installing mayavi2 and ipython on
the same box.
I am attaching a patch which backports the logics in the latest release.
PS: I am part of the upstream team for python-traitsbackendwx, and
mayavi2 (and actually ipython :) ).
