I have been able to suspend since 2007 with this motherboard. Read my post above, if you change the jumper settings on the motherboard to force S3(?), it works. Read the motherboard's manual before messing with this jumper, I mistakenly flashed my BIOS.
Again, PLEASE give the jumper change a try. This issue was history for my in 2007.
