@Sandro, if the led is blinking that indicates a kernel oops rather than
an X crash, so you have some different bug than this one.
@vlowther, I'm fairly sure your issue looks like a dupe of #328035,
which is now fixed in the beta. Feel free to reopen this bug if this
proves to be incorrect.
