Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lock-keys-applet

It would be useful if the lock-keys applet had the capability to display
on-screen notifications of the toggle events of each lock key. The
rationale behind this is that:

1) Wireless keyboards (which often have no LEDs) are becoming increasingly
popular
2) Screens are getting larger and larger, so the lock-keys applet icon is often
quite far from the entry-box where the user is typing. This means that a
relatively long distance must be travelled by the users eyes to reach the icon,
disrupting their work. Meanwhile, the presence of an OSD message can be
detected from the corner of the eye.

** Affects: lock-keys-applet (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
