SUSPEND WORKUP
---------------
- with -ati drivers:
suspend via pm-suspend works, boot without no_console_suspend option
suspend via pm-suspend works, boot with no_console_suspend option
/usr/share/checkbox/scripts/suspend_test
Test 1: suspended and resumed fine with AC cord attached, manual resume
(did not wake up automatically)
Test 2: suspended and resumed fine with AC cord connected, also had to
resume manually
Test 3: worked, manual resume
Test 4, 5 worked as expected: did not run 6 onward - need too much time
HIBERNATE WORKUP
------------------
- same panic and backtrace when hibernated from the commandline with
pm_hibernate
- carried out the tests suggested in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend . The output files
(dmesg-core-platform.txt , dmesg-devices-platform.txt, dmesg-core-reboot.txt
and lsmod.output.txt are attached). I do not have my camera's data cable right
now: I will attach a photo of the backtrace when I get it back.
** Attachment added: "dmesg-core-platform.txt"
