** Description changed:
When selecting Applications>Add/Remove....
A minimised 'Starting Add/Remove' notification is shown in the lower
minimised window bar for a second or two then dissappears.
Add/Remove is not started, no window appears and no error message is
displayed. As a result the Add/Remove gui cannot be used for adding or
removing applications.
This appears to have followed the update download this morning Friday
27th March 2009.
Running Jaunty 2.6.8-11-generic on AMD64 based pc with nvidia driver.
