Public bug reported:
Since I upgraded to Jaunty some days ago, my system doesn't wake up from
hibernation anymore.
When I turn the computer on after hibernating, I get the Ubuntu boot splash and
the message "Waking up. Please wait". Then after some time the screen becomes
blank and nothing happens.
When I now hard-reboot the computer, then the system will hang before
even booting the OS, namely at the point where the BIOS says
"Initialising USB controllers ..." (note that the affirmative "ok" or
"done" does not appear). When I turn the computer off by pressing the
power button for some seconds and turn it on again, it will halt at the
same point. If I unplug the power cable, replug and turn on, then it
will boot fine (including Ubuntu).
System information is attached.
