Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
Whenever I open totem to play streaming media, it periodically (about every 2 minutes) pops up a help window, as if I had pressed F1. If I let it playing in the background and switch to another application, it causes that application's help window to pop up. I have not found what causes this. My system runs Ubuntu 8.04, and I keep it always up-to-date. I didn't have this problem when I ran 7.10, and the upgrade to 8.04 was done through update-manager (I don't know if this is the cause, but I had other problems when upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04 in other machines, especially when using NIS). As a side note, I do not use Kubuntu, but I have switched to KDE desktop. I am not sure right now, but I think that this help pop-up spontaneously open problem also happens under Gnome.
