This bug has been dup'd to a bug that was fixed in Hardy, but in testing
Jaunty in VMware Fusion, I don't get the correct mouse driver set up by
default. So, I believe something has happened to break this
functionality in Jaunty. I spent about a half an hour fighting with
xorg.conf to get vmmouse set up as the mouse driver and wound up with a
working mouse but a keyboard that inserted ttthhhrrreee ooorrrr sssoooo
lletttterrrss eeevvverrryy tttiiimmeee III prreeessseeed aaa keeey.
