** Description changed: - Intrepid Beta, uname -r = 2.6.27-7-generic. Clean install + Intrepid Beta, uname -r = 2.6.27-7-generic. Clean install, Ubuntu + 9.04 (Jaunty) Beta live CD On startup, when a application is opened on my right screen in a dual monitor setup approx 1/8 of it over laps on the left screen. This is repeatable. I can get it to display to work right by opening preferences>screen resolution option and clicking apply. However, when I do this it puts the gnome-panels on the on one screen ( I use panels on the both screens) and I have to relocate them back to the correct monitor. Note: The initial desktop looks ok on both monitors. It is only the applications (firefox, Places, terminal windows) that are affected on the right screen. In addition, I am able to drag them to the left but can not drag them right past the initial position.
