OK on a T60 with 945GM I installed a clean 9.04 beta. glxgears where around 250fps tearing and extremely slow. I change xorg.conf and added the option for UXA glxgears has now jumped to 450fps, still not right, but it's an improvement.
Had anyone gone further? Any fixes yet?
