The machine break while going to hibernate, then the screen is freezed with garbage and it not going to sleelp.
Then I press the button of my laptop for turn off, and when start and after the login, the crash appear (I have battery and AC connected, not problem with battery). I test again hibernate for this time, but not crash. Maybe is not 100% reproducible. $ cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 2.6.28-11.38-generic $ cat /proc/cmdline root=UUID=590c22cb-5c99-4270-a154-4e6df62d1b4c ro splash locale=es_ES vga=792 $ cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume RESUME=UUID=f559fe2f-c6b4-4733-b00d-2b6a409fd681 Other information: Hibernating from text mode is OK. $ cat /sys/power/pm_tests cat: /sys/power/pm_tests: No such file or directory $ cat /sys/power/disk [platform] test testproc shutdown reboot More logs attached. ** Attachment added: "Dmesg for hibernate" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24511371/dmesg.log -- [TOSHIBA 00000000000000000000] hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/349734 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
