This bug is in some case depending on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299653, as I want to use the mirrored
display, but gnome-display-properties forces both screen to have the
same size, but I want that the maximum of both is used. Selecting the
wanted resolution in gnome-display-properties is not possible as it
would only work if I would place the part of the desktop displayed by
this monitor besides and not on the internal monitor.
Another possible caption for this wanted checkbox could be "If there I
an external monitor available at startup, use it with its maximum
resolution".
