This was an isolated incident which I think was caused by the free nvidia driver. I am actually quite pleased with how well suspend/resume works on this machine, as long as I'm using the non-free driver.
I did once run through the triage and debugging guide, before I switched to the non-free driver. To my surprise, I couldn't reproduce the problems as long as I was running in text mode; it was the actual switch to graphics mode that would freeze my computer on resume, often with a garbled display. It was this which made me switch to non-free nvidia, and all problems disappeared. -- [LG Electronics P300-T.APE4V] suspend/resume failure [non-free: nvidia] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/349505 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
