Here are the details from my wireless router:

Model: Sagem f...@st 2504

That's pretty much all the detail I have regarding the router. It's the
router that is supplied by Sky for their  broadband service in the UK so I
imagine a lot of people have this router.

If the eee pc 1000h tried to connect to the router while the router is
switched on it will crash it. However, if I turn off the router, then switch
on the computer and let it load to the desktop so that it gets to a point
where it cannot find a valid connection and THEN turn on the router it will
auto connect to it without a problem. Similarly, when I am at work the
computer will connect to my wireless there faultlessly. It seems to be
isolated to this router in particular.
