I have a 19" monitor attached to my Dell laptop. I would like my monitor
to run at 1280x1024 as it did on Intrepid. I would like my laptop screen
to be set at 1024x768 and for them not to mirror each other as I have
the laptop shut while I am using the monitor. Since Jaunty, I cannot do
this. When turning off the mirror function the desktop balloons in size
and half of it is unreachable as it is offscreen.
