1) I also have this problem, I can run the command with 0.97-1ubuntu9,
but after it reboots, grub still asked which os to boot. I think it
might be due to /sbin/grub-set-default , as mentioned in here:

2) if you fix it, do you think you could add a "-c" or "--confirm" so it
won't prompt me if I really want to reboot it? now it asked y/n, very
annoying. Let me know if I should file a RFE(request for enhancement).
