Hi, The bug was annoying. I've solved it, doing: i) Removing ~/.cache/tracker ii) killing the process iii) removing it, ie, sudo apt-get remove libdeskbar-tracker tracker tracker-search-tool Sorry, but I don't know how useful tracker is. I use 'locate' to find files on the file system.
