  Folks,

  I am using 9.04 Beta 64-bit, I am experiencing a series problem where I
am using the machine and the machine just hangs, I am not able to move
mouse, can not type anything and video freezes, this normally happens
within 30 minutes when I am using the system.

I have used previous ubuntu release 8.10 64-bit for hours without any
problems on the same machine with same hardware configuration.

These are my machine specifications :-

  .. 4 GB RAM
.. ECS GF8200A mother board with AMD PHENOM 9550 Quad core and external PCI
nvidia 7200 (in use)

The ubuntu kernel where this problem occur is 2.6.28, I myself have
compiled 2.6.29 on 9.04 beta and the problem still happens, have nvidia
  180.37 driver installed.

If any further information is required or I could help collect more
  information, please let me know.

  Thx,
  Basit
