@Theo I'm about halfway through a git bisect of mainline 2.6.28 -> 2.6.29, and (unsurprisingly I now realize) haven't been able to reproduce. I'm pulling down git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-jaunty.git right now, and will run a bisect against mainline 2.6.28 and ubuntu's 2.6.28-11.38.
