I don't know if this helps (?) but I can confirm I have the same problem with this conf: Jaunty r9.04 (64 bit) Gnome 2.26 Problem disappears if desktop effects deactivated Problem disappears if "Undirect Fullscreen Windows" deactivated in Compiz.
