Hey! same for me, i need internet to repare broken packages with the dpkg option, but with no internet it cant do it... because cant resolve the host ubuntu.com
Really, it doesnt recognize the interface eth0 in recovery mode, and in it is plugged the adsl router. I think this a bug...
