The usbserial module is now builtin inside the core kernel.
Nevertheless, this doesn't satisfy my needs. I need it as a module
because I use a 3G modem for my Internet connection, and I need to load
it with params and unload it everytime I loose my connection.

To make it working under Jaunty, I've built my own kernel package with
make-kpkg where usbserial was setted up as a module. Now I've got back
my environment working fine, and Internet as fine as with 8.10.

I think I'm not the only one who needs usbserial as a module and all the
people which whom it works fine "builtin" must be as satisfied if this
is extracted from the core kernel.
