I think I have the same problem. I don't have a card to put in the card
reader to test it but my dmesg out put also says that it is waiting tor
the device to settle. It worked fine on Intrepid

I have rockbox installed on it but that shouldn't make a difference as
it uses the original firmware for connecting and it worked in Intrepid.
