Public bug reported: Binary package hint: envyng-core
I don't have the exact error messages anymore, but when I tried to install the ATI driver with envyng, the driver didn't work. X complained that it couldn't load the kernel module, and modprobe complained something like "Cannot allocate memory." The ati catalyst 9.3 installer worked fine. It built packages, I installed them, and rebooted.
