A fix for this has been implemented upstream, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
The SVG 1.0 spec does not provide support for automatic inheritance of stroke color for markers. This is a proposed addition for SVG 1.2, however that version of the spec is not yet finalized. Meanwhile, we've implemented a workaround to manually colorize the marker via a python extension script.
