Hi Till, thanks for that comment and the script. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have any effect on my system. It I run that under X in a term, the backlight_control changes, but Fn-Keys still won't work. Do you load thinkpad_acpi with specific options to make that happen? Do you have a custom kernel?
I also forgot to mention that I updatet the BIOS to the latest version (1.09 I guess), maybe that's related.
